Lost Injured Dog, Crofton

If you live in Crofton or nearby, and can take the time to walk your dogs at Osborne Bay Park or possibly Maple Mountain area today, please watch for the following lost and injured dog. Also, please spread the word to friends and family in this area.   Here's the info I received via email (I don't know the people nor the dog - just passing this on):

We need the help of anyone near Crofton (east end of Adelaide st). Please keep an eye out for our lost Red Heeler Marcy, 2 yrs old, about 35-40lbs, sweetest temperament. Brown spot on base of her tail, has tags/collar, ear tattoo.

Marcy today (6pm) while graciously being look after by a friend ran out in front of a pickup & was hurt. Unfortunately, in shock she fled bleeding, in a strange location (she normally lives in Duncan) and has not been seen since.
SO if anyone who sees her or hears a dog whimpering like it has been hurt, somewhere between Crofton & Duncan (in case she is trying to get home), PLEASE let us know.

Thanks for your help.
Pete & Lee-Amber, our cells are 250 7324246 or 250 2139191Thank you!

(Note:  I have an electronic poster which contains the dog's picture, but don't know how to post it to the blog as it is in pdf format.  If you want a copy, please email me using the contact at the side. )

And, my usual reminder:  Keep dogs safe in new surroundings!!!!!  Arrrghhhhhhhhh!

UPDATE:  MARCY HAS BEEN FOUND!  SHE RETURNED HOME (NOT SURE IF THAT WAS TO THE PETSITTERS OR TO HER HOME IN DUNCAN) THIS MORNING.
